[UPDATE: The route is open again: #182115.] [Image taken on 1.4.22] St Andrewgate junction with Aldwark, York. The permeable route is once again blocked for works. The cycle diversion sign is non-standard/non-compliant. See example of permitted sign "Diverted cyclists" on p63 of the Temporary Traffic Management Handbook [pdf] content.tfl.gov.uk/temporary-traffic-management-handbook.pdf. I didn't see any sign at the other end of Aldwark/St Saviour's Place warning cyclists (anyone) the route was closed. (Newer image: #181468.) Other newer images relating to this diversion: #181591, #181605, #181625 and links. Other images today and links: #181245.
